About Llangefni

Llangefni is Anglesey’s county town and principal administrative centre.  It is also a major cultural centre!

LlanfairPG Station

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch otherwise known as LlanfairPG Station.

It translates as St. Mary’s Church in the hollow of the White Hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio near the Red Cave.” Visitors love to see the station’s name up on the side of the building and pose for a picture. It is also a novelty to print off a very long train ticket, which features the station’s full name.
